The A-350 on it's first take-off

 

The Airbus A-350 900 Extra wide body made it's first flight, 14 of june 2013. It tested slow-taxiïng, normal taxiïng, a take-off and a landing finally! The flight went very well. There were two pilots and four technicians onboard. One of the pilots commented: "The airplane flies wonderfully good."

The Airbus took off and landed from Toulouse, France, where around 1200 Airbus-people, journalists and nearby-living watched as the plane made it's maiden flight. The plane flew for 4 hours 'till it returned to Toulouse.

The A-350-aircraft need to fly 2500 hours before the can be registerd. Airbus-company believes that their A-350 will be putt into action by the first airline in 2014.
